Dutch Cultural Clearcut: the day after

The cultural clearcut (‘culturele kaalslag’) in the Netherlands shows its effects. Artistic enthusiasts are looking for work in an attempt to earn a reasonable living. In 2010 the Dutch government took a number of measures which the cultural sector has felt the need to implement far-reaching cuts. Dutch see their own cultural identity continues to sink.
